Finish Year-Week 1

Finish SNAP application:  Submitted online, pay stubs faxed, and waiting to hear back.

Find another source of income:  Tried to file for unemployment online, can’t, so I will make an appointment tomorrow.  Sub list appears to be closed, but I’m checking with some teacher friends to try and get an in.

Finish and stick to budget:  I have made a projected budget, and really need the other source of income to pay bills.  In the meantime, I don’t spend money.

Record an album:  Discussed plan with Christian.  Will make a track list in next couple weeks.

Read 52 books and review them:  On page 542 of 709 in House of Leaves and page 70 of 240 in The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle.

Finish quotes powerpoint:  All quotes are corrected and have basic formatting.

Recruit 5 more students to Lifepoint:  Discussed what next year will look like with administrator and am waiting to hear whether I will be teaching in the 6-12 school or tutoring in the charter.

Blog post 6 days a week:  Queue is loaded up with January and half of February.

Psalms Journal:  Psalms 1 & 2 completed.

Hey all,

I have not been doing a great job posting and coming up with new content, and frankly, I get overwhelmed trying sometimes.  I read this post by Jon Acuff and have decided to participate in the Finish Year challenge.  One of my goals is to post 6 days a week.  I have come up with categories for certain days, and instead of posting them now, I am in the process of filling up my queue.  That gives me just enough time to stay ahead and not get overwhelmed.  So you probably won’t hear much from me for the rest of the year, but starting January I’m going to hit the ground running.

That is all; carry on.  :)
